Congrats Sandra & PJ Sanford!!

I made a quick trip to So California for the Sanford Wedding! PJ & Sandra got married Friday, July 25th in the Newport Beach Temple! It was a beautiful day and everything went lovely!

John Mayer Concert!

Last Monday we went to the John Mayer concert at the Usana Amphitheatre in Salt Lake! It was Tyler's gift to me for my upcoming birthday! Colbie Callet started the night off! It was amazing! Here's as few pictures and a video for your enjoyment!

Oregon and the 4th!

So we've been back for about a week now but I'm just now getting to posting the pics! Oregon was a blast! Tyler was excited to have seat on the airplane both on the way there and on the way back that allowed him to stretch his legs. We sat in the emergency aisle but his happen to have no seat in front of him.

On our way to Salem, OR we took the Maxx (train) from the airport to my bro's house. We enjoyed some site-seeing through downtown Portland.

We went to the driving range to hit a few balls with my brother Geoff and my nieces Kylie and Taylor, my sister Jodi and her husband Dave and their daugher Macy!

A lot to catch up on, I know! Just a few pics at the family reunion. My niece was listening to Tyler practice guitar and decided to join in and then feed him some cheerios!

Ok, we flew in at about 6pm on the 4th and went straight to the Stadium of Fire! We sat on the grass which was great, however, I wouldn't recomment it in the future! We couldn't see the performers at all! and we got rained on by all the remnants of the fireworks. But thanks to Drew for these amazing tickets. We loved the Blue Man Group and wished they would have performed longer. Miley was amazing, but I couldn't believe how many little girls were there!

Off the the Reunion!

Well, we're flying out Saturday night for the Severson Family Reunion! We're excited, at least I am =) to see all the family. This takes place every two years, but I haven't been for four, in Welches, Oregon at a campground with log cabins, a pool, and many activities! We'll be back on the fourth and ready to go to the Stadium of Fire!!! Yay! Happy 4th!!

Bake, Decorate, Celebrate!!

Today I decided to watch something new. I turned to this show called Bake, Decorate, Celebrate! Today they showed how to make the cutest Watermelon cake, which I will be making as soon as I have some event to take it to! I explored the website after watching the show to see if I could get the recipe for the watermelon cake and came across MANY delicious recipes! I was excited to find this. Even though I have tons of recipe books, I like to have new and creative ideas for desserts. Here's the link for the Watermelon Cake:

Cute huh?!? Not too sure what fondant is but I think you could always just use green-colored frosting for the sides.

Disneyland!

A few months ago we took a trip to CA to celebrate our college graduation! We spent a day at Disneyland and enjoyed the short lines. This was Tyler's first time to the new California Disney!
